BIOGRAPHY

Eric Ahlers has been Head of Strategy at Netze BW since April 2022, one of the largest distribution system operators in Germany and a subsidiary of the EnBW Group. He is responsible for business and strategy development, sustainability strategy, and process and information security management. Since 2017, he has represented Netze BW GmbH to authorities and politicians in Berlin and Brussels.

 With over two decades of experience in grid regulation and various management positions at energy associations in Germany, Eric has significantly contributed to establishing regulatory management, designing incentive regulation, and shaping frameworks for "intelligent grids" and electromobility.
